Core Idea¶

The dimensions describe reported behavior rather than fixed personality types, can be high or low independently and do not guarantee effectiveness outside a specified context. Observed leader actions are coded along interpersonal support and task-definition axes, allowing a two-dimensional behavioral profile that can be related to group attitudes and performance.
