Core Idea

Constructionism extends constructivism from internal knowledge construction to learning-by-making, with learners designing, debugging and discussing tangible or computational objects while teachers facilitate rather than prescribe every step. A learner externalizes an idea in an artifact, encounters feedback from materials and audiences, revises both artifact and mental model and shares the result within a community of practice.
