  • Arbitrary unit — A locally defined relative measurement unit that reports magnitude against an instrument-, procedure- or experiment-specific reference rather than a universally standardized physical scale.
  • Bayesian epistemology — A formal epistemological program representing graded belief by probabilities and evaluating rational belief and updating through probabilistic coherence and conditionalization principles.
