- Capability Maturity Model — A staged process-improvement model that assesses organizational software practice from ad hoc execution through defined, measured and continuously optimizing control.
- Critical path method — A project-network scheduling method that propagates activity durations and precedence constraints to find the longest start-to-finish path, minimum planned completion time and the float available to noncritical activities.
