Interlineation¶

Core Idea¶
Interlineation identifies a physical or documentary alteration by insertion into the preexisting line structure rather than merely any amendment. Timing, authorization, initials, execution history, and materiality determine whether the insertion forms part of the instrument or creates evidentiary concern.
