Occupational apartheid¶
Systematic denial of meaningful occupations to groups through social, political, economic, or institutional segregation.

Occupational apartheid names structurally imposed inequity in access to activities that support livelihood, identity, health, participation, and belonging. Rules, spatial separation, discrimination, resource exclusion, and status hierarchies constrain what people can do, while institutions normalize unequal occupational opportunities.
