Core Idea¶

It is an empirically variable framework rather than a claim that all coverage is propaganda, content coding must distinguish critical reporting from delegitimizing selection and media systems differ. Commercial, institutional and sourcing routines privilege dramatic conflict and authoritative voices, which frame protesters as deviant and displace their grievances and evidence from the news narrative.
