SEED-SCALE¶
A social-change framework that expands locally successful action through self-evaluation, community learning and partnerships among communities, government and external actors.
Core Idea¶
SEED-SCALE treats human energy and local ownership as the primary drivers of durable behavioral change, with evidence-based iteration and horizontal learning enabling scale rather than simple replication of funded projects. Communities identify a successful seed, evaluate results, adapt the practice through local learning and connect complementary bottom-up, top-down and outside-in resources to expand it. The abstraction is therefore identified by a declared carrier, a transformation or constraint over that carrier, and an invariant that tells an analyst whether the named structure is genuinely present.
Scope of Application¶
SEED-SCALE belongs to social development and is useful where the analyst can specify the typed social development carrier, including its objects, relations, parameters, conventions, evidence, boundary cases, and comparison targets, then evaluate the community and desired change, locally owned seed, self-evaluation evidence, behavior and human-energy mechanism, partnership roles, adaptation process, scaling pathway, equity and durability outcomes are explicit.
