Core Idea¶
The TSN is broader than a supply chain or installed base, its proposed coevolution and lock-in are an analytical model rather than a deterministic law and system boundaries must distinguish the focal core from supporting structures. A hardware-software-knowledge core draws resources and legitimacy from surrounding networks; core growth stimulates complementary infrastructure, which later selects compatible improvements and can resist disruptive alternatives. The abstraction is therefore identified by a declared carrier, a transformation or constraint over that carrier, and an invariant that tells an analyst whether the named structure is genuinely present.
