|---|---|---|---|
| v3 | 2026-09-19 | The "Also from" domains were brought onto the canonical roster. Across this pass 148 entries spanning 95 off-roster values fell to 2 over 78 prime abstractions: 80 were renamed to the domain they already meant (biology to Biology & Ecology, forensics to Criminology & Forensic Studies), three of those renames turned out to repeat the prime's own origin domain and were removed rather than kept as an alternate that says nothing, 61 named a specialty rather than a domain — machine learning, epidemiology, network science — and moved to the entry's subdomain where narrow labels belong, and 5 were too generic to tell a reader anything and were dropped. One value whose reading was genuinely unclear was left untouched rather than guessed at. | structure — origin (fields changed) |
| v2 | 2026-08-30 | internal-notes separation: curator bookkeeping moved out of reader-facing Notes into Internal notes | prose — concise body (prose edited), detailed body (prose edited) |
| v1 | 2026-08-24 | First published edition. | first published edition |
Editions are cut at publish time from a content hash of the entity's canonical source, so a version changes only when the content actually changed. Full canonical content for every edition, and the exact per-part diffs between them, are in the downloadable editions archive (editions_archive.jsonl); the current-state index is versions.jsonl.
