Core Idea

Ripple effect is the cross-domain propagation pattern in which an initial change perturbs immediate neighbors or dependencies and those secondary changes disturb a widening set of components, often with diminishing, delayed or transformed influence. The abstraction is not exhausted by its familiar source-domain notation.
