Domain-specific

• P-chart
  • The entry records a descriptive analytical identity; practical use requires the governing domain's evidence, standards, and safety obligations.
• Process capability index
  • … control-chart evidence of stability, center and dispersion estimator, distribution assumption, selected index formula, confidence interval and predicted defect interpretation are explicit. to An applied instance preserves the same invariant under changed scale, notation, jurisdiction, dataset, or implementation..
• Process performance index
  • Unlike within-subgroup capability indices, performance indices use overall observed variation and can summarize an unstable process without implying predictability; nonnormality and autocorrelation can invalidate simple sigma interpretations.
• Shewhart individuals control chart
  • The entry records a descriptive analytical identity; practical use requires the governing domain's evidence, standards, and safety obligations.
• U-chart
  • The u-chart models defect opportunities through a Poisson-style count rate, uses a weighted center line, and adjusts each sample's control limits according to its exposure n_i.

Verification

Does it exist? Confirmed. This work's ISBN resolves to a registered record, which fixes its identity. That is all it fixes.

Does it back the claim? Not recorded. Neither this nor any other of the 5 citations of this work carries a recorded support check.

Support is checked per citation rather than per work — the same source can be cited soundly in one article and wrongly in another. Per-citation recording began recently, so a citation with no recorded check is a gap in the record rather than evidence it went unchecked.
