Autological word¶
A word or expression that itself possesses the property it denotes.
Core Idea¶
An expression is autological relative to a property when it denotes that property and satisfies the same property when treated as an object of predication. Self-application aligns the expression's semantic content with a feature of its own token or type. The abstraction is therefore identified by a declared carrier, a transformation or constraint over that carrier, and an invariant that tells an analyst whether the named structure is genuinely present.

Scope of Application¶
