A historical quantum interpretation proposing that conscious observation triggers wavefunction collapse.
Core Idea¶
The proposal is largely rejected, Wigner later withdrew support and it must be separated from generic Copenhagen language and pseudoscientific claims.[1] A measurement interaction entangles system and apparatus, but the account postpones definite outcome until the chain reaches a conscious observer whose awareness is postulated to select one result.
