The Diagnostic Story

Symptom: When urgent collective action is needed, the willingness is there but the conversion to coordinated commitment fails. Requests diffuse unevenly — some clusters are saturated with asks while others never receive the message. Trusted central actors become personal bottlenecks, needs and offers scatter across unconnected conversations, and after the mobilization the network is depleted rather than strengthened.

Pivot: Turn the existing dense relationship structure into a mobilization architecture: define the trigger and goal, route the request through trusted channels rather than broadcasting it uniformly, convert expressed willingness into bounded commitments, match resources to needs explicitly, and build in status updates and stop signals alongside the initial call to action. The design protects participation as voluntary and bounded even when social expectations are strong.
