Resonance Tuning¶
Align intervention timing or frequency with a system's natural rhythm to amplify desired response.
The Diagnostic Story¶
Symptom: Effort is high but uptake is weak. Good content fails because it lands at the wrong moment — too early to stick, too late to act on, or at a cadence that has become invisible noise. Outcomes occasionally spike when timing happens to match readiness, which gets mistaken for a volume problem, so the response is to push harder through the same channel until fatigue or overtraining sets in.
Pivot: Identify the system's actual response rhythm, readiness window, or effective frequency, then tune the timing, cadence, phase, and dose of input to that rhythm. Monitor response quality — not just delivery volume — and retune or stop when the system adapts, fatigues, or begins amplifying the wrong thing.

Diagnostic problem
A system has cycles, phases, attention windows, readiness moments, or response frequencies that make some timings disproportionately effective, but interventions are delivered ad hoc, continuously, too early, too late, or at a generic cadence. The result is wasted effort, weak uptake, poor retention, missed readiness, or pressure to increase force when timing would have mattered more.
What this problem means
The structural problem is timing-blind intervention. The system may be full of activity, messages, training, support, prompts, reviews, or incentives, but those inputs arrive outside the moments when they can be used. Actors then compensate by increasing volume or pressure, which often creates fatigue instead of response.
This problem appears when useful information arrives after the decision window, learning review happens after forgetting has gone too far, support is offered before readiness, or organizational change material lands outside budget and planning cycles. In each case, the content can be good and the effort sincere, while the phase relation is wrong.
